2005-2009 Lead Carpenter, Supervisor, 1100 Jackson Associates LLC.
Working directly under the building owner/builder of a high-end 35- unit apartment building in the Marina district, I worked and supervised all phases of construction (plumbing, electrical, carpentry-structural and finish) on a complete rehab of a 1908 Edwardian building that recently won a green building award for a rehab project.
2004-2006 Woodshop Monitor, San Francisco Art Institute.
Supervise safety and maintain all shop equipment. I worked directly with students in realizing their goals and fabrication of a multitude of art projects.
2000-2004 Digital Imaging Lab Supervisor/Technician, Loyola University New Orleans.
Assisting students and professors with digital imaging equipment and software, including all of the industry standard video, 3-d, and creative suite packages. My responsibilities included inventory, maintenance, and installation for all lab equipment.
2003-2004 Carpenter, Grote Properties, New Orleans, LA.
During undergrad, I worked for internationally acclaimed sculptor, Mark Grote on innovative high-end residential/ light commercial construction projects, and sculptural installations.
1995-2000 Laborer, Santee’s Painting and Construction, Memphis, TN.
My father instilled a work ethic in me that still pushes me every day. I began as laborer at the age of 12 and worked in a variety of building trades until I left for university in 2000.
